Green Design is a design-build company that offers landscaping and interior design services. We specialize in Japanese and Tropical design. We are located in San Jose and have over 10 years of experience serving the Bay Area. Our work has been featured in the Sunset Magazine and the San Jose Mercury News.

In addition, we have a showroom as well as a nursery location, both located conveniently off highways in San Jose.

At our showroom, you'll find a selection of Asian Art imported from Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, and Tibet. These hand-crafted pieces include original antiques and one-of-a-kind carvings. Come to the showroom to see how you can bring home a piece of this Zen-inspired tranquility.

At our nursery, you'll find a big collection of succulents, palm trees, and bamboo. We also have a variety of exotic tropical plants, such as the King Protea and the Leucospermum. Our plant experts are also on-hand to guide you through the collections and answer any plant-care questions you might have.

In the Showroom

We have received a new shipment from Thailand and now we have many wonderful objects. There are carved statues, traditional puppets, exotic vine structures, gilded art. Come see the new Plantscapes!

In the Nursery

Spring will be here soon and it is time to start planning for the upcoming season. Come see our new extended area that includes islands of bamboo, contorted fig trees (also known as Henry Lauder’s walking stick), large Japanese maples, cactus and much more. We have received a shipment of large bonsai plants that are 20 years old or older. They are magnificent! Pincushion plants (Leucodendrum) are here for planting and are in bloom. A new shipment of pottery is here and available for spring planting.
